These are poems  that Dad wrote about the Moon and the Stars! Hope you will enjoy reading them!!
"Pale Yellow Moon"

The pale yellow moon in the dark deep blue sky,
With a bright sparkling star at your side.
Riding so high, in the dark deep blue sky,
On your journey in Heavens so wide.

Ride on yellow moon, in the dark deep blue sky,
Far from this world, and in peace.
And the bright sparkling star, in the Heavens so far,
We hope your bright sparkle, won't cease.

"Stars"

The stars that shine on clear, cold nights,
In the Heaven's up so high.
They seem to say, I'm way up here,
You can't touch me, if you try.
But the stars must be so far, far up,
So far beyond the moon.
They seem so safe from earth man's grasp,
Yet they will reach them soon.
Since man has ventured into space,
He'll reach beyond the moon.
And he may land upon a star,
So we may all know soon.
If stars that shine on clear, cold nights,
Are fields to land upon.
Or if like dreams, we all have had,
Reach for them and their gone.

"Florida"

The beach, the sun, the sand, the sea,
O what a pleasant place to be.
Just to relax, without a care,
To enjoy the things that God put there.
