Dad  wrote this poem about smiling!!
It is better to smile than to frown!!
Hope you are smiling when you read this poem!!!

"A Smile"

A smile today,
A smile tomorrow,
May change someone's life,
Or brighten their sorrow.
A good word today,
A good deed well done,
Can well indeed put
Old gloom on the run.
For one easy smile,
And the effort's not great,
May turn one to love,
And turn them from hate.
So give smiles freely,
There's no end to their ripple.
They may make you a friend,
They may cheer up a cripple.

"Smile"

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds...in the sky...you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile, and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through...for you

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you'll just smile
