Mom and Dad did enjoy the Winter time. Dad enjoyed working puzzles when they were home. Dad wrote many poems in the Winter. Here are two more of Dad's Winter poems!!
"Snow"

Snow,
That white and messy stuff,
That comes down with such ease.
It blows and sticks to everything,
And makes your fingers freeze.
Snow,
That white and slippery stuff,
All roads are covered by.
Makes one dread the long trip home,
But we will have to try.
Snow,
That's nice at Christmas time,
And cooling in July.
But in late February,
It makes a body cry.
Snow,
That pleases all the kids,
And folks who like to Ski.
But if you never come again,
That's soon enough for me!

"Frost"

Here come's the dawn, time at last,
To scrap the frost from off my glass.
To scrap it off is misery,
But scrap it off, or you don't see.
Yes, scrap it off, you may get caught,
For not doing what you know you ought.
And also you, a life may save,
And also stay, out of your grave!
