Dad wrote these two poems back in 1971. Hope they both help you!!
"Don't Be"

Don't be discouraged,
If problems get you down.
Just stand right up and face them,
Or they'll drive you in the ground.
If you let just one defeat you,
The next will harder be.
So stand right up and fight them,
You'll lick them, just you see.

"Worry"

Worry, worry is not for me,
We can't afford to worry, can we.
Worry will put gray hair in your head,
Worry will make you drop over dead.

Worry can also drive you to drink,
Worry will push you right over the brink.
Worry will age you, fast as it can,
Worry will make you a troubled man.
Worry can make you imagine things,
Worry, with all of the trouble it brings.
Worry, worry is not for me,
We can't afford to worry, can we.
