Mom and Dad Both Loved all Kinds of Flowers. But, I think this One was Dad's

Clematis, with your purple flower,
Sparkling after summer showers.
Bright green leaves that shyly peep,
From behind your blossoms deep.
Growing from the ground to roof,
Holding your proud flowers aloof.
Purple colors of a king,
You are such a pretty thing.
Of all the flowers I like best,
Clematis, you have met the test.
