Mom and Dad loved to drive around during the Christmas Season and look at all the pretty Christmas lights.
From the darkness, as you crest the hill,
And look down on the city.
With all the brilliant Christmas lights,
It seems like such a pity.
That everyone can't see this sight,
With all the decorations.
And you know the Christmas Season,
Is the cause for celebration.
For the houses and the buildings,
Are as brilliant as the dawn.
This seems to be another world,
That you have come upon.
And if you would enjoy the lights,
Gaze on them from afar.
And let your mind drift back in time,
To that First Christmas Star.
