This is another Autumn poem that Dad wrote. Hope you will enjoy this one too! |
"Autumn Is Here"
Autumn is here, Summer is past, Her warm mellow days, slips from our grasp. The bright sunny sky's, and wet Summer rains, Beautiful birds singing happy refrains.
|
Autumn is here, grass turning brown, Yellow gold leaves, covering the ground. Frost in the windows, fencepost and gate, Cool restful nights that makes you feel great. |
Autumn is here, with much shorter days, Birds flying south, in the gathering haze. Wild life burrowing, Winter to miss, Yes, Summer is gone and Autumn's like this.
